Vision & Faith Statement

“To build a church, where individuals, families and communities so changed and renewed in the likeness of Christ, may joyfully pursue their role in Gods’ kingdom through the Gospel”

Statement of Faith

We Believe in

… the plenary-verbal inspiration of the accepted canon of scriptures as originally given. The scriptures are infallible, inerrant and the sole and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Corinthians 2:13)

… salvation of sinners by Grace, through repentance and faith in the perfect and sufficient work of the cross of Calvary by which we obtain remission of sins. (Eph 2:8,9; Heb 9:12,22; Rom 5:11)

… the Lord Jesus Christ, the Saviour of men, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of virgin Mary, very God and very Man.

(Lk 1:26-35; Jn 1:14-18; Isa 7:14, 9:6)

…..Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day, and personally appeared unto His disciples.

(1Cor 15:1-4; Rom 4:25)

… the Spirit-filled life, a life of separation from the world and perfecting of holiness in the fear of God as expressing the true Christian faith. (Eph 5:18; 2 Cor 6:14; 7:1)

… the unity of the One True and Living God who is the Eternal, Self-Existent, co-existing in three Persons – Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6:4, Mk 12:29, Mat 28:19, 2 Cor. 13:14)

… the ascension of Jesus to heaven, His exaltation and second coming for His Church.

(Jn 14:2-3; and 1 Thes 4:13-18)

… the healing of the body by Divine power, or Divine healing in its varied aspects as practiced in the early Church (Acts 4:30; Rom 8:11; 1 Cor 12:9; Js 5:14) and by deliverance in the name of Jesus. (Mk 16:17)

… the baptism in the Holy Spirit as a real experience at or subsequent to salvation, with the scriptural evidence, namely, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance.

(Acts 2:1-4; 8:14-17; 10:44-45; Gal 3:14-15)

…..that all who have truly repented and believed in Christ as Lord and Saviour are commanded to be baptized by immersion in water. (Mat. 28:19, Acts 10:47-48, Acts 2:38-39)

…..that all who have truly repented and believe in Christ as Lord and Saviour should regularly participate in Breaking of Bread. (Lk 22:14-20, 1 Cor. 11:20-34)

…..believe in the bodily resurrection of all men, the eternal life for all who truly believe in our Lord Jesus Christ and the everlasting punishment for all whose names are not written in the Book of Life. (Dan. 12:2-3, Jn 5:28-29, 1 Cor. 15:22-24, Mat. 25:46, 2 Thes. 1:9, Rev. 20:10-15)
